TONY FERRERO

Tony currently serves as the Treasurer on the Board of Directors of the Lake Minnetonka Klondike Dog Derby.  He has been in the banking industry for 20 years, primarily in the western suburbs of the Twin Cities, and is currently a Senior Vice President at Bridgewater Bank specializing in business banking.

Tony lives in the Lake Minnetonka area with his wife and 3 children, who attend the Minnetonka schools.  His children are involved in various winter sports including hockey and figure skating, and Tony and his wife enjoy supporting them in these activities.  In his free time, Tony likes to ice fish on Lake Minnetonka in the winter and spend time with his family at their cabin in Northern Minnesota in the summer months.

Being a lifelong Minnesota resident, having grown up in Northern Minnesota, Tony has a passion for the outdoor activities that Minnesota has to offer.  Tony was first introduced to dog sledding while attending the University of Minnesota Duluth where he learned to dog sled in one of his classes.  Since that time, he has been intrigued by the sport.  Tony is very excited about being a part of bringing dog sledding back to Lake Minnetonka!
