tom ramy

Tom was born and raised in Minnesota, growing up in Bloomington then moving to Shorewood/Excelsior with his wife, Brenna, in 2012. His family has grown to include two kids and a dog who all love spending time outdoors; with most of their summer hours going between softball and baseball and getting out on the lake whenever possible.  When not coaching his son's baseball team or watching his daughter's team play, Tom is most likely sneaking a round of golf in or hosting someone at his home so he has a reason to make the Lebanese dishes he was raised on. 

Tom has been a part of the Klondike Dog Derby since its inaugural year when he worked with founder, Bethany Hway, on designing, and then his company Hewn & Forged making, the iconic Start/Finish Arch.  He was hooked after that first year and has been a champion of the event since then. "This is quite possibly one of the most unique events during our Minnesota winters!"
