Billie lives in Cloquet, Minnesota. She is part of the Rock Creek Kennel team with Richard Loucks and has been mushing for 27 years. When she was about 3 years old, Billie went to see sled dog puppies and the rest was history! Currently, she has 17 dogs in her kennel, and she loves how each dog has their own personality. Cait, Red and Bob take the cake for the biggest babies and snugglers. Billie’s favorite thing about the sport is being alone in the middle of the woods with just her and the dogs. She loves getting to know each dog, creating mutual respect for each other, and knowing they can all count on one another.
